Since its inception, Library Technologies, Inc. (LTI) has provided the highest quality authority control and database preparation services. LTI has evolved to become the only authority control specialist in the library automation marketplace. We are a small company and focus all software development on creating the most advanced procedures for linking controlled headings to Library of Congress authority records. LTI continues to improve its authorization services and takes satisfaction in delivering the highest link rates in the authority business.
A privately held company with a strong service orientation, LTI prides itself on competitive pricing, fast turn-around time, and accommodating the special needs of client libraries. We recognize the customer's financial investment in its database and the importance of those records to the library's mission.
Over the years, LTI has authorized over 250 million bibliographic records for hundreds of libraries of many types and sizes. Annually, LTI authorizes about 25 million records via batch or backfile processing. Our LTI Client Libraries lists some of the libraries with whom we've worked.
LTI has worked with a wide variety of local system vendors, including: Ex Libris (USA), Innovative Interfaces, SirsiDynix, The Library Corporation, Polaris Library Systems, and many others.
